Quick instructions on using Kon-Boot to bypass a Windows password
1. Download Kon-Boot from here: http://www.piotrbania.com/all/kon-boot/data/CD-konboot-v1.1-2in1.zip
2. Unzip the .iso file somewhere
3. Burn it to a CD
4. Quickly power on the machine (that you want to bypass the password on) and insert the CD that you created in the
5. If you don’t see a Kon-Boot screen and it boots into windows you will need to change your bios settings or find the boot menu (typically F12) to change the boot device to the cdrom drive instead of the hard drive
6. Let it boot into windows. Hopefully there is already a username in the username field. Try anything in the password field. If there was nothing in the username field, try administrator and then put in any password.
7. Once you get in, change the windows password OR create yourself a new account.

This reminds me of the rigged up house I live in now! Oh wait, this bathroom is actually equipped with a shower!
New Project: Pinball Machine
Here is my new project! A friend of mine was getting rid of this perfectly good pinball machine so I decided to take it! It is fully functional aside from the volume potentiometer needs replaced.
The Plan:
It works in it’s current state but I’m not satisfied with that! I think I could make it do a lot more than it was intended.
It could use:
- New volume potentiometer
- Replacement of as many of the old components as possible with an ATMEGA chip
- Whatever other cool mod I can dream up

Tell me what you think would be a neat mod for this Pinball Machine.
My garden is growing pretty steadily and I am getting more and more vegetables each and every day. Here are some photos for you to “enjoy” if your a garden geek like myself. I have a bunch of zucchini, onions, and tomatoes growing. If you konw me you will know that I absolutely love tomatoes! So much so that I have 26 tomato plants in my garden.I also have two watermelons growing, misc hot peppers, lettiuce, and cucumbers growing. I am hoping to have too much food so that I can start to donate to the people that I have promised food to!
I actually got to attend Field Day 2009 after all. I didn’t show up until 1:30am on Sunday to operate but I did get the chance to man a rig from 1:30am until 10:00am. I will post photos as they come in! (and a better blog)
