Hackerspaces
I've been interested in Hackerspaces for quite some time now. A hackerspace is a physical place where people with common interests can meet, collaborate, and work on projects. You organize yourself as a group and accept membership to pay the bills.
I've always questioned myself if there were enough geeks in the Zanesville, Ohio area to start one. In larger cities they typically start the spaces with 5-10 members so they have more of a chance to succeed.
